This pooper scooper was exactly what I had hoped it would be. I have had trouble in the past with the clamp not closing tight enough to pick up poop. Then when I do pick some up, some falls out. This clamp closes well, and I don't drop whatever else I've picked up when getting more. I've noticed a few reviews saying that it's short, but it doesn't seem to impact my ability to clean up my pet's mess. For me it wasn't a noticeable issue, and so I can't dock this scoop for that. I would recommend to others, but I would encourage people to understand this is a plastic scoop, so they aren't supposed to, nor will last a lifetime. I think if you go into it realizing that you'll be extremely happy with this item.

I found this pooper scooper to be well made and just the right length. I like the colors its made with and the jaws are big enough to pick up just about anything. I have two dogs and i have tried some of the others and they break easily. This one looks like its alot better made.. The colors are bright so its easy to spot in the yard. I like it.

I’m a senior apartment dweller who walks her big dog early in the morning. I needed something that wasn’t too clunky, easy to use and easy to clean. I didn’t want to continue to bend over to pick up waste. This is the BEST. I purchased biodegradable bags (the size of grocery bags) and the scooper easily empties inside them. I use it on grass and snow and it works great everywhere.

We have two small dogs who poop like elephants! Since it's the middle of winter, the dogs have been pooping in pretty much the same 12x12 area of the yard and the poop was piling up. We knew WE wouldn't want to keep walking in poop, so I purchased the Pooper Scooper and we are so glad I did! The scooper is super easy to assemble and use. It could be just a few inches longer but that's only because my husband is 6'1" tall. The scooper picked up both fresh, semi-frozen, and just plain yucky mushed poop right out of the grass. After two or three tries, my husband found the perfect technique and the poop scooped right up so he could dump it in a trash bag lined pickle bucket. Excellent product that I'm sure we will use for a long time to come! Highly recommend!

I was hesitant to buy something like this, questions arose.... What if it's cheaply made, what if it doesn't work? What if, what if, what if. I took the chance on this and I love it. Granted, I don't have a lot of experience with these items but this one is by far the best I have ever used. (I used friend's ones over the years.) The grip on it is great and it cleans up a lot. It has saved so much kitchen roll, it's crazy. I'm glad I took a chance on this.

It does what it says . It picks up your dog's messes . No more plastic bags or bending over . It feels sturdy enough and is sort of nonstick so clean is as simple as a quick rinse with a hose . I like that the springs can be easily replaced when needed . I've had other scoops that were made from hard plastic and they all broke . This one is made from a material that feels similar to a Sterilite container . I can say that it seems very resistant to breaking as I dropped taking it out of the shipping box . It was a solid three foot drop onto a hard tile floor and not even a scratch . So far I am happy and I recommend this product .

Listen. I never write reviews. Which I’m sure you’ve heard a million times, but I don’t. I really need to for this thing because of how awesome it is. We have a black lab and a pit mix. They poop A LOT. We live in a city so our backyard isn’t huge and it sits with 3 other yards. I was starting to think our backyard was stinky, and if I thought it I’m sure our neighbors did too. Our black lab already barks 24/7 so I need no other reasons for our neighbors to hate us. Que the pooper scooper. I just can’t like it enough. I cleaned 2 bags of poop out of our backyard. This was easy & convenient to use. Super user friendly. I would 1000000% recommend you buy this. I can promise you I’ll even be taking it on our walks to pick up messes while we’re out.

Love this scooper. I use a wheelchair, so it makes pickup up the 'business' easy. It folds but I don't use it that way. I just carry a plastic grocery bag and put it and its contents in the bag and tuck the bag in at the top of the scoop until I can get it dumped. Like the fact that the teeth on the bottom make pickup on grass very easy

Seriously can’t tell you how great it is. Never thought I would love a pooper scooper so much. My husband had hand surgery last year so I am the designated pooper scooper for life and this thing makes it so easy I don’t even mind it. we have four dogs and a small fenced in area so are using it constantly. It is lightweight and very easy to use. Folds up so it is compact and easy to store. I put a plastic bag over the scooper part, have another plastic bag to drop in, and it could not be easier. Highly recommend.

I expected to hate this but love it instead. I always curb with my dog and most recently underwent a procedure on my lower back and ankle. Due to this it’s more difficult for me to bend over while walking her. I thought I’d feel weird but did not. I would feel more awful if I did not clean up after my own dog. This is a God-send. Me and my dog moved into an apartment after having a backyard for years. I was absolutely not looking forward to having to pick up her poop. Someone recommended I buy a scooper to make it less gross and I found this one. It is sturdy and great quality. It’s also lightweight which isn’t a dealbreaker for most people, but it’s definitely a nice quality. Also, if you’re curious if it’ll work for you because you have a big dog, my dog is around 50 lbs and it works just fine for her. I would recommend a larger one if you have a dog that’s larger than 50 lbs. Great product, great quality, will definitely buy again when I need a new one.

This is the 2nd poogoo I've bought. I'm very happy with this item, as. I'm wheelchair bound so it is essential that I have a sure-fire way of picking up my dogs poo. I can easily reach to pickup poo and know I've not left anything behind. A curious fact, tho: the 1st one was the neon green and black poogoo, and this one is the blue and black one: I've noticed that the "gone". The neon green poogoo never gave me that surprise. Upon closer inspection of the blue one, the space between the teeth of the scooper is larger than the green. The must be falling through the spaces. The item itself has all the same dimensions, so the bigger spaces have to be the culprit. So here is feedback on this item: Get the green one; the only reason I had to buy a 2nd one was due to my leaving it exposed to direct sunlight and the instructions clearly say to not do that - the sun not only faded it but the plastic pins that secure the scoop together. Clean-up for either color is simple: after slinging the poo to the drop spot, hose off the outside of the scooper, then hose the inside, paying close attention to the teeth.

Look, there are a lot of poor reviews for this product. Honestly, if you are upset with a dog shit grabber because it's not made of steel you have bigger problems than dog shit piling up in your backyard. This is a product you use for a few years and keep in the backyard out of sight until you move and decide to throw it away. For the money it's a great value and also a whole lot better than using your hands. I will likely buy this again when I move.

A lot better than I was expecting for the price the bite force is impressive. Was able to easily pick up dog poop that’s been smashed into the lawn and dried to it with ease. The teeth along with the bite power of the jaws easily broke the poop free and picked it up without any issue. Very impressed for the price. Highly recommend.

This is a really awesome picker upper! My dog is a beagle mix and, honestly, I know what I feed her and what she eats, but I don’t understand how a 40 pound dog can produce so many elephant-sized poops regardless of her exercise levels. This is a life saver. I have an old trash can, and I use this and the whole yard is clean in five or ten minutes tops. It’s very sturdy and girthy, doesn’t miss anything, and is smooth to handle. The only thing someone may complain about is it’s length; it is a short scooper. I’m 5’1” so this is no issue, but do consider it if bending is hard on you. Anyway, I highly recommend it! Excellent scooper!

I have a bad back so I decided to try this scooper. I put a plastic bag over it, and with one try I can collect the poop, turn the bag inside out when I am taking the bag off, tie a knot and I am done! I don't have to bend all the down to the ground and aggravate my back.

My old scooper finally wore out the plastic near the pivot so I looked on this website for a new replacement and found this one with pretty good reviews. I’m telling you from experience (we have 2 Labs) that this works great ! I can pick up 2-3 piles in one bucket full and it doesn’t fall out. The springs are the right tension to operate. This was an amazing scooper! Easy to use and super sturdy. I was sad once one of the pegs started to pop out. I would normally notice and catch it before the poops when into the bag, but the day finally came and it was lost forever. I have made a temporary fix by placing a safety pin in place of the peg and it's still working. This works great for my two Dobermans who I have the joy of cleaning up human size poops for. :) I'm sure once the safety pin doesn't work or the other peg needs replacement I'll repurchase. This is def a great purchase!

This pet pooped scooper feels sturdy in your hands, the clutch/spring that opens and closes the jaws feels strong, but is easy to operate, even for those who do not find it easy to open and close their hands. We’ve had it for about 2 weeks now, and we’re very happy to use it, rather than bending over several times a day. Definitely worth the price.

I really like how this tool makes it a lot easier to pick up my dog's poop the only problem is it doesn't get underneath and it kind of just picks up the poop from the top of it leaves a lot of poop in the grass I'd sayit works pretty good for small dogs but I ended up ordering a much more expensive one although I haven't received it yet this one will do for now.

I was skeptical at first since I have pretty tick grass. But what do you know, this thing can just scoop the poop right up. Very easy to use. I even used it to pick up those that has been on the grass for several days and pretty much sit under the grass, and it still work like a charm. Love it!!! But I'm still reserving my judgement on how long this will last. But overall it looks sturdy enough. I also love the "foldable" feature to make it easy to pack in my dog bag when we travel.

This scooper exceeded all my expectations! It especially worked well for the big spring clean up after the snow had melted. The scooper has a rake design which easily grabbed the waste from the grass without leaving anything behind or damaging the lawn. Very sturdy, great design, works GREAT, and easy to use!

I have the chore that everyone who owes a dog has to deal with. We saw a neighbor use it and I was enamored. I got it for a Christmas gift and we got three other for dog owners. Seems to be working well. I don't use it. I bought it for my slave boy to use. He wanted a dog so badly...so did I get us one.... for me to but I don't want to clean poop up. We make our son pick up the dog poop, yep it is a dirty job. We do pay him a weekly fee, however he hates it. This works well for him and he thinks he has some better tools. Ha we tricked him but he picks poop up almost everyday. It seems very durable, and it cleans ok, we simply keep it outside and spray it off with the hose, that is one of the tasks he has to do.

The spring Jaws are tight - as they should be when picking up the doggy doo-doo. A handy little tool to have if you own some pups. Ordered one a few months ago. Really no assembly required, just unfold it, slip the plastic piece over the fold and you are good to go. We have 6 dogs so to say the least, that is ALOT of poop.We pick up every day and it still works great!! So many lose their springiness after a while but not this one. Works as good as it did on day one. I just ordered a second one because we expanded the fenced in dog area so we can have one at each end. Highly recommend this product!!

No assembly required! Comes in one piece and easily opens up and locks into place. The bags are easy to attach and the rubber gaskets that hold them in place are soft and pliable so it doesnt rip the bag or hurt your fingers. I was able to use it immediately and cleaned up the yard of a few days worth of dropping from my large dog, no muss, no fuss! Finally a product that does what it says it will!

It scoops poop. Looks like it will hold up for a year or two which is about what every other one I've had lasted. Plastic will only hold up for so long. I suggest picking up some extra springs here or Harbor Freight as they will break from metal fatigue at some point in my experience.

Love that it folds. Only issue with it being very long is if you’re trying to dump the poop into a bag in your other hand... a shorter one is easier. But if you’re just trying to scoop to put in a bag someone else is holding or throw into bushes, this is great

Easy to set up - But....Not long enough for some body that is tall. It made for somebody that is short perhaps 4 or 5 feet tall - But if you are 6 feet tall and up you have to bend your body down the handle is just to short, - make it a little longer and it would be great

This product is great! Picks up all size poops without a problem. It’s sturdy and there is absolutely no assembly needed. It's really good for picking yucky things in the yard. My 7 year old daughter couldn't really squeeze it easy to pick up after the dogs but I found it easy. I find it's best to twist it back and forth as I'm picking up the poop. Works great for picking up nasty apples too.

I love this thing! No more bending over to pick up my dog's poop with my hands- ick. I put a doggy bag over the end before I pick up the poop, and it works perfectly. This way, it keeps the scooper clean- no need to rinse off. And I can tie up the bag and put in the trash. I don't understand the people saying it's not long enough- what are you 10 feet tall? LOL.

Works great on all dog droppings, hard or fresh. Open up jaws a place over droppings and place on ground. Release handle and twist back and forth. The action allows the jaws to work thru the grass picking up the droppings . On hard surfaces you don't need the twisting action

This is a great product to help assist with scooping dog poop from the backyard. You don't have to bend all the way over to the ground to pick it up, this allows for just a slight bend to reach the ground.
