I've had this nail grinder for over a little over a year. It is supper quiet, easy to use / and adjust speed with one hand. I have a 12 ish lb maltipoo that falls asleep when I use this to do her nails. Could not be happier. I used to PAY to have her nails clipped because I was afraid of hurting her. Not only am I saving money, not stressing her out to go to a groomer, but it does a better job on her nails.

For the last couple years I’ve had issues finding replacements for many of my dog nail files. So when I saw this, I knew I wanted to get it so I wouldn’t have to deal with it anymore. I’ve been using it for about six months now and it’s still as good as it was the day that I got it. And it’s so quiet! Totally worth the money!

This is a wonderful tool! The sound is like a high pitched whir, and doesn't bother my skittish dog at all. Very easy to adjust with one hand. Two "settings" for dog nails. First is a narrow slot that I used to get most of the excess nail ground down. Second is about 180 degrees, and works well for "free form" shaping of nails. Finally, you can remove the protective cap and use the flat sided dome of the grinding wheel if you are comfortable with working on larger areas of the nail. I tried it on one of my own toenails, and it worked great.
Previously, I tried a nail grinder with sandpaper tubes. What a disaster! This tool has real grinding wheels, which do the job very quickly and do not come apart. This nail file cost almost exactly what I've been paying a groomer monthly for nail trims for just one dog, and I am sure I will use it many, many times. Excellent investment!

In the past, I have purchased several nail polishers for dogs, but the motor is not strong enough to work properly. I am not disappointed with this product, the motor is very strong. It’s not too big and fits my hand.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I think it is worth it!!! I have a 3 year old dachshund and my manicure has always been rough! I stumbled upon this and wanted to try it. It took only 5 minutes to complete all four paws!

This has been a great nail grinder to use since I have a doggo with black nails. It’s impossible to see the quick in these types of nails and cutting them with cutters make me nervous. This grinder has helps so much. My dog is mostly calm throughout her entire nail shortening with this thing and I have been please with it so far. The charge also last a very long time and is very quiet.

I have a chihuahua that even the vet would have to sedate to clip the nails. He kicks squirms and jumps. Well he was a little kicky with this but once he felt it just filing his nails down he JUST SAT there!!! Like a statue. No meds no begging no bribing. Got his nails all worn down in five minutes where before nail cutting could last an hour. I’m glad I got this and wish I could go back in time and buy it sooner
Ishaq
It takes a while to grind doggo's nails if you've waited a long time. It smells a little funny because you're grinding nails. The sound is not too loud\scary for our elderly dog. The charge lasts a long time. We haven't had another to compare it to but would buy it again.

LOVE this product !! I have a great Pryeness doodle with fast growing nails. He hated the nail clippers so I tried this product. I honestly did not think it would work so I bought this one since it wasn’t expensive just to try. I took a few days to introduce the product. Turned it on around him a couple of times while petting him. Then I waited for a calm moment and went slow. He actually seemed to like it. Very very quiet !!
I think the key is to be able to take your time and hold each nail individually. The quality and size is perfect for his nails. I wish there was something to file down these sharp puppy teeth !!
Emmanuella
Great product. It truly is quiet. Both my dogs allowed me to use it on their nails. I have never used this type of grinder and I’m quite pleased
Ravi Sparrow
This is a VERY quite grinder, easy to handle, minimal vibration. Lol, my puppy will learn to like this, just like she'll learn to like a bath & the blow dryer.
Ishaan Holcomb
This trimmer is easy to use and makes almost no noise of its own. Once you start the actual trimming, it makes a whirring noise as the nail comes in contact with the sanding wheel, but stops the instant you break contact. My mini dachshund didn't much like the whole process of having to hold still for each nail, LOL, but the job was done with no injury and a treat to finish!
Sohail Cortes
This product is very good. It is very quiet and I was able to do my dogs nails without a lot of hassle. She was not afraid of it and it did a great job. I also like that it is rechargeable and does not need batteries. Great tool I would recommend it to people who have dogs that get nervous when they get their nails done.
Sky Preece
The must important thing is being patient with my Chihuahua, letting her get used to the feel. It drill / filer is almost silent so noise is not an issue.
The issue is I think it tickles her foot, she not sure of the sensation. Patients.

We have a 6 year old pit rescue and in the 4 years he’s been with us we have NEVER been able to cut his nails. At one point he had to be sedated at the vet so they could look in his ears and my husband requested they cut his nails while he was under because it was so impossible.
THANK GOD FOR THIS HANDY TOOL! No more lethal nail scratches when bubs gets excited lol!
Maleeha Firth
It works well and brings 3 spare parts of sandstone. I haven't been able to use it with my puppy since the sound it makes scares him a lot.
Nawal
Convenient to fix the nails. A little bit scary for my poodle but it works for him. Highly recommend !
Dania
Worked very well and fast. It was quiet so did not disturb my pet. Came with an extra grinding attachment. Pleased!

Scott Mohamed
Received quickly and it works but the engine power and really little, just a minimum pressure of the nail and the firm. Little suitable for large size.
Mohsin
Very fast. It doesn't have much noise but its effective and my bitch doesn't get scared I get x happy. I'll prove it. At the moment I left it close and on for k to get used to it.

The same thing was always sharpened with claws in the vetclinic. I haven't tried it yet. It came quickly. Powered by 2 AA batteries. There are 3 spare Emery in the kit.
Aron
The product is just like the photo. The point is, the wheel's in trouble and it's blocked when you've been using it for a long time. I don't recommend anyone buying it.
Samual
Fully corresponds to the description. In the set there are three spare nozzles. It came in a package and in pupyrka. Claws at the rabbit sharpen.
Reem Osborn
This great I recommend it takes a short time and I'll prove it this great, it's as described
Amy
I arrive in good condition, I still don't test it but it looks good delivery was fast
Nikolas Marshall
I would have given this product 5 stars, because it definitely gets the job done easily and fast, but it doesn’t have anything to catch all the dust from the shavings. If that design flaw is improved, this nail grinder would be exceptional. For the record, I’m very happy with it, but it’s very messy.
Scarlet Carver
Worked out great!
My skittish dog actually relaxed once she realized It didn’t hurt

Takes a while to grind down the nails and I noticed some nail splitting the next day on the nails I filed. My dog gets nervous with grinding down the front nails because of the noise of the file. He doesn't seem to mind the grinding as much when I'm doing his back paws.
I hate cutting my pets' nails so this is a great way to trim nails without cutting. This is less traumatic for me and my dog and even though it takes longer to cut the nails it's worth it.

Our 2 fur babies HATE to get their nails clipped. My hubby found this and said we need to try it so we ordered. Our order arrived on time and we immediately hooked it up to charge in order to try it out the next day. LOVE that this nail grinder is so darn quiet as this helps tremendously with my dogs anxiety over this ritual. I modified a shopping bag in which we put our little one in. My hubby did the grinding and I hold his head and talk to him while the job gets done. We get on the floor with our bigger dog and again hubby did the grinding while I talk sweet nothings in her ear. We drew no blood on either of our pets which that in itself is great! Overall, there was less pulling back by both dogs and I know the quietness of this grinder was a huge help. Our goal is to be able to get our dogs nails to the proper length and we believe we can achieve that with this grinder. We have tried different grinders before but they were loud and very hard to hold and work with. This little machine was great and we love that there was no cord. Don't hesitate to order this one!

Bought this to use on my 11 year old Bullmastiff who has severe arthritis, she can barely walk so bringing her to get her nails clipped at the groomers is really hard on her. So I've neglected her nails and they are getting really long. We had a groomer come to our house, but lighting was bad and she was excited, kept falling down, and it was still rough on her, so the groomer suggested I try doing it myself more frequently. This grinder was amazingly quiet and my old girl just laid there on the couch while I did it, no excitement or stress on her joints!! I found some videos online how to grind without hitting the quick and used a headlamp to see what I was doing. Her nails are huge so I had to remove the cover and expose the drill bit. Now I will just use this once a week to try to get her nails shortened. I'm very pleased with this product, cost just a little more than one trim at the groomers, so definitely worth it!

I had been using a pedipaws which was too large and heavy for my arthritic hands. I have 7 dogs and nail day was not fun! I LOVE this device! No batteries and rechargeable like my phone! It’s very compact. The dew claws are so much easier to grind! I cannot say enough about this product! It grinds those nails down in record time compared to my last nail grinder. Very pleased and with 7 dogs to trim, I highly recommend!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt this one warranted one! I have a 6 year old mini dachshund and trimming nails has always been rough!! Screaming and biting (from the dog). I’ve tried other nail grinders and she was terrified of them. I came across this one and thought I’d give it a try. It took only 5 minutes to do ALL FOUR paws! She held perfectly still and didn’t fight me a single bit!! She even wagged her tail when we were done!! Hallelujah I think we found the tool for us!!!

Very quiet! Quieter than my electric razor. I’ve only used this once so far. I was able to grind my golden doodle’s nails including his dew claws. The noise didn’t bother him, but I have to hold him still so I can grind carefully and not get his hair caught in the wheel. You can remove the guard which I felt was easier to maneuver. I has some issues grinding the top of his nails since it spins counter clockwise and I’m right handed. My dog’s nail seemed to bounce off and click against the wheel which he didn’t like, but I found switching hands worked. I suggest you play with the angle and how hard you apply pressure. It can take off a lot quickly so go slow at first. I tried the guard but his paw hairs kept getting in the way. If they had a guard that only had one side open that would help me get under and around his paw hairs easier.
So far it’s been great to use.

I rescued a new dog and she was terrified of the nail grinder that I used on my Golden Retriever. I did some research and decided to purchase this based on great reviews, cost, and the promise that it was quiet it wouldn't terrify dogs. When it arrived I charged it and was ready to test it out. Now, it isn't silent, but it's very quiet compared to what I was previously using on my dog (which sounded like an industrial belt sander). My girl was a little nervous at first bc she sensed I was about to do something to her paws. I turned it on and she cocked her head to the side and gently leaned it to give it a good sniff. When I touched her nail she scrambled to get away but after having my friend hold her, give her pets and treats I was able to successfully grind ALL her nails with no problem. I've since used the grinder with no issues all by myself. My sweet girl was only a little concerned the first time, but after she realized there was no harm and she got LOTS of love, belly rubs and treats afterwards she was totally on board for her Paw-dicures. I would definitely recommend and I'm very happy I took a chance on purchasing this product.

We used to use a dremel and this product is much easier to use. 1st off it’s cordless which is very convenient and the wheel grinds better than the sandpaper lined dremel tips. The durability seems great and is very easy to hold and maneuver. I would highly recommend this for smoothing down your dog’s nails.

I don't usually write reviews for products, but this grinder has changed my dog nail care profoundly. It is quiet, easy to hold, and the guard is a game changer for me. I have an older dog and a puppy, both with black nails, so clipping is a little scary for me and for them. The older dog has long, hard nails, and he used to literally tremble with fear when I would grind his nails because I would sometimes accidentally grind his toe pads, but now he and I are both calmer because the guard prevents me from accidentally hurting his pads. It is helpful to have two holes in the guard because it gives me good flexibility and easy access to each nail, so I don't have to worry about how I'm holding the grinder. I now feel safe and confident grinding both dogs' nails. I only wish I hadn't waited so long to buy this!

We have 2 rescue dogs, who both have black, very hard nails. Neither one likes getting them clipped, but they don't mind the grinding as much. This is the third grinder/sander I've owned. I have the original Pedi Paws, and also a Wahl model 5971. They are both battery operated, and I bought rechargeable C batteries and a charger, to be able to afford to use them. The Pedi Paws sander was good for a long time, and even though it was rather loud and dusty, our dogs didn't seem to mind too much, and it did an OK job, but it wasn't very powerful. The Wahl is also battery operated, but it had NO POWER, and would bog down every time I touched it to their nails, and basically stop, and it left the nails raggedy. SO FRUSTRATING! I wanted something that had more power, and I was willing to sacrifice the maneuverability of a cordless for power, but then I found this grinder. The USB charging made it extra appealing to me. There were a few reviews that seemed out of place, and I chalked that up to people either not knowing how to use a device like this, or just merely inexperience or overblown expectations. I was looking for something that would be considered "professional," and even though I don't necessarily think that this grinder would qualify for that distinction, I think it would be damned close.
I got it yesterday. I opened the box and turned it on. I decided to try to do my smaller female's nails, because I was a little worried about the size openings on the tool guard. I prefer using the guard, because it helps you to keep control of the tool, and allows you to keep the tool from jumping or bucking off the nail. Her nails fit fine. I was able to do all of her nails in about 15 minutes. I like to get them down as much as I can, and now, having this tool, I will be able to do it. The key is being able to do them more often, to keep the quick back. It will recede, if you stay on top of it, and I want them shorter than I have been able to keep them with my other tools.
This rotary file has plenty of power. It has two speeds, both of them whisper quiet, and it is SMALL! I guess I have standard sized women's hands, and it's basically the length of my hand, palm to fingertip. I tried to upload a pic, but I couldn't get it to work. The head of the rotary file is very small, but it works very well. I mean, it takes work to file their nails, but this makes it easier.
I went online today to register my product. It has a lifetime warranty. Based on the cost of similar tools, I can tell you that the price is very reasonable, and you get a quality, well-made tool with a lifetime warranty. I'm not sure how you can do better.
I would definitely buy it again, and I am recommending that you try it. No more batteries for me, and I don't have to sacrifice power for the convenience of a cordless tool. Win/Win. Two thumbs up. Five Stars.

Train our dog daily & dog class 3x p/wk. Roxy is smart. Spent a wk training her but still very spooked w/ grinder. I replied to the seller's inquiry that she is afraid of it. Unexpectedly I got a refund with no questions asked. I continued to train and started accepting it after 4 more days. I basically turned it on and touched the dogs paws all over with it vibrating without actually grinding anything for a minute at a time per paw. She is still not 100% good with it but has started to accept it. I let seller know that I will pay for it but they replied that they were ok with us just keeping it. The customer service is excellent. I believe that they realize that not all dogs will take to it and they take it upon themselves to just give you a refund. The let you keep the product which simplifies everything. Point is, there is little to no risk in trying this product out. Buyers need to be patient with some dogs. Our dog specifically had an issue with the buzzing sound. No issues with the vibration which I think would have surfaced when it touches her paw. In our case, at least 2 weeks, several times a day of turning it on around her and just touching her with the unit with the cap on. We even massaged her with it on while it was vibrating. Now we are able to grind her paws.. maybe 2 nails at most each session and working up to a paw before she starts squirming. It is effective and takes about a minute per nail to grind and shape.

I was so very pleased with how quiet the motor is on this trimmer. We have a newly adopted pup and I held it by her and turned it on low first, then to high, and she didn't flinch. Yes, her ears perked up but she was not spooked in the least. She already lets me hold her paws so I know we are going to have an easy go of it in keeping her nails trimmed. The trimmer fits nicely in my hand and is compact enough without making my hand tired from holding. It came with almost a full charge so I was immediately able to try it upon opening the box. It comes with the USB charging cord but a plug adapter would need to be purchased in addition to as it does not come with that. However, I believe everyone who has a smart phone would have the adapter as it comes with the phone package anyway, but they are easy enough to find anywhere and very affordable. Highly recommend.

I've always been a little afraid of trimming my dogs nails for fear of cutting too short. I have 2 small dogs and their nails grow fast, so I finally decided it was time to learn because paying to have them trimmed so frequently was too expensive. This grinder came with information on how to trim the nail which made me feel more confident. The grinder worked great and it was my first time using it. I was able to use by myself without having someone else hold my dogs. Both of my dogs did really well with the grinder. I allowed them to get adjusted to the sound first and rewarded them with treats throughout the process. The wiggled a bit at times, but overall stayed still and allowed me to trim. I love how quiet the grinder is. I included a video so hopefully you can hear that it is quiet. The video was taken after I had trimmed my dogs nails and as you can tell they were not fearful of it at all afterwards. Highly recommend!

This nail grinder is exactly what I've been looking for and didn't even know it. I have nail nippers which my dog hates and is hard to use without hurting her because she fidgets and always pulls her paws away. I also have a dremel like tool where it has replaceable sandpaper inserts but the thing is too weak when I apply any sort of pressure. I saw several other's that were similar in design to Casfuy's nail grinder but I ultimately settled on this one due to the fact that I don't need to replace the battery. This nail grinder feels solid, it's easy to hold. The cap stays on tight when it's not in use. The safety cap over the grinder has two openings to accommodate small and large nails. I have a 58 lb Siberian Husky and her nails fit perfectly into the small opening. My absolute main issue with other nail nippers and grinders was that I had an extremely difficult time accessing my dog's dew claw because those other tools needed to be held sideways/horizontally to the nail. With the dew claw being on the inside of the paw, you would have to be ambidextrous to be able to trim/grind your dogs nails down with the other tools. Casfuy's grinder has a better design where the tool is held vertically which means if you're mainly right handed, you can still do both dew claws easily and safely. Same goes if you are mainly left handed. I highly recommend this. I wish I had known a nail grinder of this design existed before I wasted all my money on the other tools. I could easily go to the groomer's to get my dog's nails done but at the end of the day, this is much more cost effective. The noise level is so-so. It's not loud, but the noise can increase when the nail is applied to it. My dog still fidgets but at least I know I'm not hurting her with this tool. I also love the fact that I don't have to replace the grinding bit because it's a diamond grinding bit (again, more cost effective in the long run).

My dog is terrified of the floors at the grooming salon, so we purchased a special grinder head for our dremel to try to grind his nails at home. He was pretty patient for about 2/4 paws. 80lbs, so he'd get up and walk away when he was done with it. I purchased this on a whim, figured if he doesn't let us use it we can just return it. Yesterday he let me do 3/4 paws. Today he let me go back over every single nail again on all 4 feet (minus a little paw pulling away on the last one, still better than yesterday). I plan on hitting them every day for awhile to get them back to the proper length and then making it part of our weekend routine from then on. This is a quiet but powerful little grinder and works great for his thick nails.

With the current virus pandemic I knew I wasn't going to be able to take my dog to the VET to get her nails trimmed so I decided to give this grinder a shot since it was similar to the way my VET would do her nails (not clipping). My wife purchased Pedi Paws like 8 years ago and it didn't work out too well but I figured I would give this one a chance. Well I am happy I did. I followed the directions by first getting her used to the device and the very low noise it made. I did this by putting it on and placing it near her every time I would give her a treat. At first she woulds shy away from it but after about a day she didn't pay much attention to the grinder anymore and just focused on the treats. Guess she figured it was the price she had to pay to get the treat!. So today I decided to finally give it a shot and see how she handled it and to see how well the grinder would work on her now pretty long nails. My Sammy is a 10 year old Lab mix and her nails are pretty thick. I started out trying with the nail guard on but decided to take it off because her nails were a little to big and the grinder itself was very much the size and shape my VET used. I started out slowly at first, doing a few seconds at first and giving her a treat. To my surprise she was pretty calm about the whole thing and I soon just kept grinding and rewarding...Like I said her nails were pretty long and thick so it took a little time to get them down but as I got more familiar with using it I got better at it and started getting them filed down quicker. I plan to trim them down a little maybe every 2-3 weeks so that they don't get as long and won't take as much time grinding each time. All and all I am very happy with this purchase and sorry I didn't do this sooner. I strongly recommend you give it a try.
