I got these for the compression. I had hoped they would have something in them to apply pressure to the pressure points in my calf. I wanted them to try to use the compression for sciatic pain. Not sure if they will work for that. But they do work if your legs swell from water retention like mine do. You have to put them on pretty snug tho.

Actually thinner then what I thought it would be and could easily wear it under some loose fitting clothes. Wish they had a right and left option so I could put 2 on at a time.

My 83 year old husband needed to wear compression socks but he could not pull them on even with a sock assist and I could not help either. I saw these on this website and took a chance he would use them. He did and he wears them every day. I bought a second set 2 one for each leg so he had extra to wear while one set was being washed. He has fewer open sores on legs and the doctor highly agrees. I will probably purchase another 2 to have on hand because the closures do wear out after a long time of use.

I suffer from frequent dislocations of hip joint and this wrap has helped a lot. It's easy to use and my dislocations are less frequent with it. It's a little uncomfortable in hot weather and doesn't stay in place when I wear tights, but otherwise I like it.

I was surprised at how much this brace provided relief from my sciatic pain. It also prevented pain that I would have expected after a day of yard work. My only complaint is the Velcro around the waist irritated my skin and I would suggest wearing a long undershirt to protect the lower back.

This deserves 10 Stars!! After 4 months of going to the chiropractor and to physical therapy, with very little relief, I decided to purchase one of these. I was diagnosed with IT band syndrome and also bursitis and tendonitis in my left leg, from my hip down to below my knee. I went to the chiropractor, I saw my doctor and got a cortisone shot and I went to physical therapy with very little relief. That is why I took matters into my own hands and decided to purchase one of these wraps and I am happy to say after 5 days I have seen so much improvement in my pain and ability to get around. I also just ordered another one so I can wash one and wear one! I am truly amazed and so thankful for this product!!

I ordered this wrap to help me walk around Disneyland. I have excruciating lower back pain, sciatic pain, and poor blood flow to my hips that renders me immobile. Two days of walking in Disneyland while using the wrap has been wonderful! I’m not pain free, but it’s made it so I can actually enjoy my time here. It’s easy to put on and take off. I wish I had bought this years ago. I suffer from SI joint dysfunction and arthritis in my right hip. I work really long days and I’m on my feet all day which can make the pain I experience almost unbearable by the end of the day. By the time I get off work, I can barely move. I wore this to work for the first time today and what a huge difference it made. By the end of my 10 hour shift, I wasn’t experiencing any pain and hadn’t all day long. I was able to move around pain free all day and you have no idea how fantastic that was for me. Usually I’m almost in tears by the end of a shift, gritting my teeth trying to make it through to quitting time. I took it off when I got home and my hip pain immediately returned so I put it back on.

I bought this to help keep my hip stabilized as I frequently dislocate it. I have been using it for a week now and it works very well. It's not the perfect fix, but it provides a little extra stability that keeps my hip in line during the day. Quality is great and fairly breathable in normal temp ranges (I wore it for a walk when 95F outside and was too hot and sweaty to be comfortable). Highly recommend for anyone needing a little extra hip or ground support.

I had labels repair surgery a few years ago and recently started having hip dislocations due to Ehlers Danlos. This holds my hip in place so to speak and makes the joint feel more stable. I was worried the sizing would be too small as I wear women’s 2x but it ended up being perfect. (Couldn’t fit much larger though. It could be easily used by any size smaller though I’d imagine.) Exactly what I was looking for.

I don't exactly the reasons, but this brace was great for my hip arthritis. I don't want to wear it everyday, because I don't know the long term consequences, and I don't want to create dependency. However, when the hips starts to hurt at the end of the day, I just put this thing on, and it helps a lot. I did a workout last weekend wearing the brace, and it was awesome.

I liked this product so much, It would have been helpful had I known about earlier on with my injury, at first I thought this product would be a waste of my money but when I tell you that this product allows you to put pressure on the painful areas that fill as if they would break and that hump that is I'm my back due to a bulging disk, its still there but this product allows me to move about with my daily activities, I want to move a lot not that I have the support I need, and the more I move some of the even lighten up which is wonderful, and I get stiff a little less but all and all I would recommend this product before I would even think to mention injections to your spine, torso, hip, or knee, and butt bone, It was helpful from the time I put it on, I was in pain at first but realized that I was able to do more bit by bit everyday that stiffness was not hanging around holding me down every time I would sit and get up, its a work in progress but I think this product would help a lot

I suffer from a fairly severe case of hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and my hips give me problems every day of my life, be it in the form of dislocations, subluxations, bone on bone grinding, or a combination of any. Since receiving this brace it has drastically improved my quality of life when it comes to my hips. The brace is comfortable enough to sleep in, travel in, or just generally live your life with. It raises the ball and socket joint perfectly, and the bone on bone grinding has practically disappeared while wearing it. I’m able to ride horses in it as well, which isn’t possible in most other braces because of both comfort and the fit. I highly recommend this brace to anyone who struggles with pain, dislocations, etc.

This strap is made very well and of high quality. It is easy to put on without any assistance. It stays in place while working out and is comfortable to wear. I am a older female who likes to run and recently injured the groin area muscle on my left leg. I took several weeks off for the leg to heal. Unfortunately, that time off did not eliminate the pain. I couldn't stand not running any longer so, I started wearing Icy hot patches and then wrapped the leg as the groin wrap would fit. That is when I decided to go one step further and order a groin wrap and out of all the ones I looked at on line I thought this one look the best. Once I got the support wrap I wore it on a five mile run and I couldn't believe how well it worked. It help give me the ability to put strength back into my leg without being painful. I did also buy knee supports and wore them to assist the brace and together both products worked great. I am thrilled I have found the two items.

I recommend this product. I had an upper hamstring pull that I tried wrapping with an ace bandage. That helped, but the bandage kept slipping down, away from the area I needed the wrap on. After I received the 'Groin Wrap' I continued to wrap with an ace bandage but I also used the groin wrap for added pressure and to keep the ace in place. It worked great! I probably didn't need the ace with the groin wrap because the wrap could be adjusted for the tightness I needed, but used it anyway for my piece of mind. I'm very pleased with the quality of the groin wrap.

Been dealing with sciatic nerve pain for quite a while. Saw mention of one of these wraps and figured I'd give it a try. As someone that works in a warehouse and is constantly up and down and bending/lifting/stepping over and climbing things I was extremely impressed. First day of wearing it I did not have any of the normal pain I've become used to, no random shots of pain if I turned or stepped oddly that would almost cause me to fall. It was the most comfortable I've felt throughout a full 10 hour work day in a long long time.

Yesterday I asked a question. To be honest I don't do many reviews if any. But this one needed to be done. I'm a tiny woman and this fits like a glove. This is strong and wraps around a 24 inch waist with no problem. I found it easier to put this on lying on the floor. This gives me perfect posture so this way when I stand up literally the pain is gone. I feel, for a lack of a better word, normal. No pain, no meds needed today and I can stretch and reach for plates instead of using my stepstool. I feel like a new woman. And you don't really feel like you have anything on it's very supportive very comfortable and the best thing I ever could've done for myself. A must buy for anyone with sciatica.

This brace has changed my life. I have EDS and struggle with horrible hip pain. I can’t stand in one place and I’m limited to the activities I can do. With this brace on it allows me more time in my feet and has given me the opportunity to farm a little longer. I will be ordering again. The groin support Velcro is starting to come lose every now and then but I believe the work I do and hours worn are more than the average person. This is after months of daily use. I will be ordering the double brace and another one of these. They have helped me tremendously. I can stand in line at the grocery store with out having to squat down from unbearable pain.

I do not normally write reviews for things that I buy but I have been really helped by this brace so I thought I would share my experience. After almost 2 years of hamstring and sciatica pain, which started with a hamstring pull while skiing, using this support made an immediate difference. Previously, to alleviate the pain I had tried PT, massage, NSAIDs, and prednisone. Nothing helped. I like to stay active with yoga, spinning, and workout classes at the gym. The pain remained even though I modified my workouts to mitigate the aggravation. As soon as I began using the support during my workouts and while skiing, the pain was greatly diminished. After a month or two the pain I was experiencing had practically disappeared. I can now sit in a car for hours without experiencing pain shooting up my leg which would begin 20 minutes after I'd begun to drive. It takes a little playing with the brace to get it adjusted but once on it feels just fine and does not get in the way of exercise.

I ordered this on a Friday evening. I pulled my groin, front quad and hip muscles tendons, everything! I was in excruciating pain. It arrived at 11:34am on Sunday! I couldn't wait to put it on. I am a female 5'6" and overweight at 200lbs. It got quite well with only a bit of gap between the thighs wrap part and the hip brace part. If I was 2 inches taller it would have fit better. So it would probably be perfect on a taller man as well. I'm still wearing it 5 days later. It's really helping me as I heal. I was on tears when I got it, and had immediate relief when I put it on. It also is easy to take on and off for bathroom breaks but never slips. Great product. Haven't washed it yet but it looks like it would stand up fine after washing. Recommend product!

I’m getting a hip replacement in a few months. Been in a lot of pain. Thought I give this a try. I know in my situation it’s not going to take it away but it does help. The pain isn’t that intense and the side of my hip which always seem to be sensitive this blocks it. I wear it under my cloths there’s not a problem. As far as putting it on I don’t see any problem. Pretty much you put it on a few times you’ll know how to do it. I have no problem getting it on or off. So far I’m impressed with it. In my case it helps the pain and helps stability in my hip.

I am facing having to have a hip replacement at an unusually young age and have found this to be very helpful with supporting my hip joint. It fits great and is easy to put on and pull off. I haven't worn it under clothes for now, but I am sure you would be able to with looser fitting pants. My only complaint, if you could call it that, is it does get a bit warm because of the material it is made of, but it isn't a deal breaker for me. I have found it makes my long work shifts more bearable and definitely can tell a difference when I don't wear it. I would recommend this for folks with arthritis in their hip and are looking for just a little bit of support on that joint.

I purchased this product several weeks ago in hopes that it would help relieve my chronic hip and sciatica pain. I had been going to visit my chiropractor on and off for almost a year with minimal sustained relief. I read all the reviews carefully before making my decision to purchase this item, and in spite of some that were most disheartening, I decided to take a chance that it might actually help me get around. After about a week of wearing it daily, and nightly, I am more than pleasantly surprised as to how much this has improved my physical well being. I am now rarely in pain and I can once again navigate the stairs without going one step at a time. Truly remarkable product! It is extremely well made,comfortable for long term wear, and it doesn't itch or smell (like some reviews might suggest). In June I was told I would have to have my right hip replaced. I still am working and with three years to go before I retire. That is my plan to get my hip replaced after I retire. With the daily pain on the increase I have been looking for some relief. I saw this product and thought to try it. The products price wasn’t high so if it didn’t work it wouldn’t bother me to place it in the closet with other products that didn’t work. I have only had this a week but it seams to be working. I have less pain through out the day. It was worth the try.

This is amazingly helpful in supporting my left hip. I have tried compression wrapping elastic wrapping, and the problem was not enough stiffness (but much sweat after short time wear). Once I found the right angles for the Velcro support; albeit not pain-free, but stiff enough to stabilize hip/groin to make a meaningful improvement (and fine to wear with jeans without much bulk).

I never write reviews but I felt like I should since this brace has helped me out so much. I have had severe hip pain that spread all the way down my leg. Often I could barely sleep. My physical therapist says I probably have a hip impingement. My si joint was often very painful as well. This brace has helped so much. I think bracing may be most effective if used in conjunction with gentle excersize. I’ve been biking to and from work with a fat tire cruiser and taking it really easy on hills. This brace was absolutely worth every penny.

I am a 69 year old female who got bucked off her horse. Ended up with four fractured ribs, torn groin on the right side, and fractured pelvis also on the right side. Doctors only offer you narcotics for the pain, which I declined, but still have animals to feed and take care of. Pain was horrendous, looking online I found this. Really liked that I could wear it under my jeans. Found that I need to wear it 20-30 minutes before the pain disappears. Still limp when I walk slowly, but who cares. I am very happy with this product. My cattle dog can give me hugs again, so he's happy too.
