I cannot speak to the longevity of this as I just got mine. That being said, it is cool, a great conversation piece, and the amount of light that it puts out is perfect for my dimly-lit room. It was easy to set up. Note that it does not levitate as high as seen in the pictures, the moon hangs about 1" above the base. It took me about a minute to get it in the correct position to leviatet. Note that if it loses power, you have to manually reposition it to get it working again but it does stick to the magnetic base, so it won't roll off on the floor and get damaged if it loses power.

This lamp is the greatest gift I never thought I wanted! Its different settings and and easy setup make it an absolutely hypnotic marvel. The moon will levitate even when the lights are off. Since magnets are the main factor the ever rotating moon adds an so much additional ambiance to my already cozy space. Highly recommend for science and space fans of all ages! I was not expecting a life-like moon but it is way better than what i expected. I love watching the clear sky, moon, and stars in the night and now i have something similar in my bedroom. The light is enough to illuminate the whole room in the night and it is visible in day time as well.

Bought as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it! It’s better than our actual lamp. It was really hard to get it on at first. It took us probably about 5 to 10 mins to get it hovering just right above the magnet. Definitely worth every penny.

Totally enjoying the moonlight. I love the warm colors. Tt is very calming and soothing to my eyes. I tried once or twice and i was able to balance it on the wooden base to make it float. I bought this for our 5 YO son who loves all things astronomical, then got a 2nd for my husband who liked it so much. It has a beautiful glow and you can hold the tiny button in to brighten/dim the lamp. The charge lasts a while and you can also use it while plugged in if needed.

Love this...so pretty! I keep it on my entertainment table that I have placed under my wall mounted flat screen. There’s a soft yellow setting and a more whitish/blue setting to choose from (and you can adjust the intensity of either setting as well)...haven’t decided which I prefer yet. Definitely going to be buying another one for my office space.

It’s perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. When I took it out of the box, I was worried. But when you turn it on, wow! It’s great. Very realistic! It has two light settings (unless I am missing a feature). It has a bright white setting and a natural light setting. I got this for a gift and my boyfriend was so impressed with how realistic it looks. And it’s actually very classy looking too. It doesn’t come with a remote but I wanted a more realistic looking moon so I don’t need one. The two colors are great. Would definitely recommend.

I absolutely needed this in my life. It's simply gorgeous, and very realistic. I use it as a nightlight in my bathroom. At its lowest setting, it simulates moonlight, enough to see my surroundings. At its highest setting, it's almost - but not quite - bright enough to read by. The charge lasts all week on low, and it recharges quickly. Highly recommend this!

This was a birthday gift & it is seriously cool. It looks just like a miniature moon. It does change between two colors by touching the sensor on the bottom. Neither color is overly bright, but it’s perfect for a representation of the moon. The stand it comes with is unassembled when shipped, but is very easy to put together. It also is shipped with an instruction booklet to explain how to charge it and how it works. It does come with a charging cable, but I haven’t had to charge it yet, so I can’t speak for that.

I was a little nervous when I first took it out the box. I thought it looked kind of cheap. But then once I got it plugged in and turned off the lights. WOW! It is pretty and so cool. The design and attention to detail is amazing. It glows so bright and the best part is the brightness is dimmable. So it can be brightened or softened to your liking. It has three light colors all of which are dimmable. I want to keep it for myself but I originally purchased it as a unique gift for my cousin.

My 6 year old loves his moon, unfortunately from day 1 it was a little hard to charge, you had to wiggle the cable to get it to charge properly. After a couple months of this, it finally stopped charging. I was past my return date so I emailed the seller and asked if I could exchange my purchase for a new one. Purchased this for a gift for my partner, the review asks to rate ‘remote control’, if there is supposed to be a remote control, I did not get that. However the rest of the quality is great, I thought it would be a little bit bigger than it is, however it is very detailed and bright and like that you can easily change between warm or cool light and adjust the brightness. The little wooden holder is nice, wish the legs went together a little more seamlessly so there isn’t a gap where they come together.

This light it AWESOME! My son adores it! It has a few light settings, my son prefers the one pictured (the warm tone). It's just light enough to give comfort, but not so much that it keeps little ones up. It doesn't look too great right out of the box (like a lumpy white ball), so I was a little nervous, but as soon as I plugged it in, we could see the detail! It looks exactly like a mini moon. I would 100% recommend this little light for a night light!

Very unassuming when turned off resembling a white ball with dimples but when turned on, it really does look like the moon. Has white light or soft light depending on your preferences and can last long enough to get through the night if you'd like to use it as a nightlight. You will have to charge every day however, if you want to use it in this way.

I initially bought this product to have as a gadget on my desk. The first product I received worked exactly as expected, with one minor exception: the power button didn't work. This didn't affect the regular operation of the device, you just couldn't turn the light off while it was in operation. I left some feedback for the seller just advising them what happened, not expecting anything in return. The seller reached out and offered to provide a replacement at no charge, without any prompting from me. The replacement was sent in record time and works perfectly.

Great product!! My 8 years old daughter is totally in love with this moon. She is using this as a night light in her room. The initial setup was a breeze. However, few things need to be done correctly in the initial setup: Power adapter connector doesn't go all the way inside of the base (there is a little gap), so do not try to push hard, it can damage the connectors. Please see the attached picture for detail. - There is no way to tell if the base is ON until the moon is aligned & lights up. I highly recommend this product. It's awesome! It's made of high quality material, it can be placed anywhere in the house as a decorative item.

I got this as a gift for my best friend, and he loves it! Every time I visit, it’s lit up brightly and it hasn’t stopped performing. Light: the light is bright, and nicely lights his dining area. The color choices are bright white and warm white. I personally like the bright white most, and it seems much brighter. Quality: the base and moon light itself both seem to be really solid, sturdy, heavy, and well made. Obviously I don’t know how long the light will last, but I’ll update if there are any issues. Design: the moon looks incredibly realistic, and if you’re a little further away you can’t entirely tell that it’s the moon. It’s beautiful either way, and doesn’t look “tacky” or childish. The base is wooden with a pretty grain, and it’s quite heavy. It’s a very sophisticated looking piece. The magnet is strong and keeps it levitating 1.5-2 inches above the base, and it slowly spins at all times. I believe the magnets are angled to give it a little push. Packaging: it was packed safely and securely and arrived in perfect condition. It also included a little charm and a thank you note.

This is the second moon lamp I’ve purchased. This lamp is everything. I have one at home and now I have one for my work office. People stop by my office all the time in awe of this lamp. The ambient light it provides is perfect and it looks just like the moon. The option of white moon or yellow moon is brilliant. The moon spins and levitates just fine, however, it won’t light up, which kind of defeats its whole purpose as a lamp. I’m very disappointed, since this was a Birthday gift for my husband. UPDATE: contacted customer service, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. A new one was sent to us immediately. This product is absolutely awesome! Realistic moon spins, levitates and is a great nightlight as well.

Just make sure you plug in the power adapter before you try to levitate it. This was a Christmas gift from my wife and I love it. Video shows the changing color mode, but you can turn it off or keep it on white or yellow light only. If you unplug it, the moon will not levitate. I love that the moon was 3D printed to model the actual appearance and features of the moon surface. This makes it more than just a novelty light, it's educational. If this keeps working over time it's a home-run.

I love the detail of this thing. At first i wouldn't get it to levitate, it just kept sticking to the base. Once i started to use my fingers to keep it off the base (see video) i was able to do it a lot easier. I see comments concerned about our outages and what happens to the moon when the electricity is out. The moon simply falls on to the base and sticks there magnetically. I'd say it was worth the money and it would be a great thing to show guests.

It is one of the coolest novelty items I have seen and purchased. I originally purchased the moon light for my office and to use as a calming tool for my recovery clients. But, my wife liked it so much I had to order her one too. We keep it on the breakfast bar and never turn it off. It is calming, therapeutic and enjoyable to view through out the day.

This lamp is awesome! Great quality and no issues with the 3D printing like some reviews mentioned. It’s tough to get the magnet just right but keep practicing and you will get it! Once you find the “sweet spot” it’s easy to get it to balance. Rotation can go slow or fast depending on how fast you spin it. I will buy this lamp as gifts because they are super unique!

Absolutely lovely! I recently moved bedrooms in my house and trying to theme my bedroom more for relaxation and sleepytime. This light is just gorgeous and looks like a real, miniature moon when it glows. When I sleep I like my room to be completely dark and without any noise besides some white noise. I use the warm light mode because it's pretty and dimmer than the white light mode. Lovely, lovely, lovely!
