This is the second snake we purchased. The cobra snake didn’t work that great. Luckily this one works Much better! If it doesn’t drive straight, read the directions on the box on how to ‘recalibrate’ it, by holding the buttons down. My 3 and 5 yr old LOVE this thing. It doesn’t work well on carpet, tho it will move slowly on some. AnOther annoying thing is when it runs into a wall or corner it tends to get stuck there. But it didn’t bother my kids, they loved picking it up by the tail and setting it down again to take off. Fun little toy!

My son has been wanting a RC snake for many months. He was thrilled to open this one up on Christmas! We had to charge the snake, which wasn't a big deal at all. It really DOES like look a snake if you aren't paying close attention! He and my husband had a blast...the dog was eager to attack! :) I would totally buy this again!

The first one we got had a broken piece, so we weren't able to use it, but they sent us a new one without any hassle at all. Deliver was fast and right on time. This was a gift for our 11 year old daughters birthday, because she has wanted a remote controlled snake for as long as I can remember. Great gift!!!

I got this for my cat as a toy. It works well for that purpose. It flips over a bit too easily so I need to be vigilant. The remote batteries are a challenge to replace. The snake recharge is easy.

It was a fun gift for my 8 year old grandson. I understand that one of the wheels got messed up, but my son was able to fix it. Boys in that age are rough on toys. He wanted such a snake since last Christmas so I had to get one for his birthday. This snake design came closest to a California rattle snake. The price was right and delivery was as promised.

It arrived in one piece! The only complaints I have is that the remote control will only work 4 to 5 feet away from the snake.....and that's with a full charge! The other complaint is the red indicator light underneath the snake head.

it works exactly as described. my cat however is terrified of it and was not amused by his christmas present. the dog would like to murder it though, so at least someone got a little fun out of it. it is a little difficult to steer the thing.

Definitely tough to get the thing going.
We tried multiple times to pair the remote to the snake and we're about to return it before magically it started working after removing batteries and attempting to pair over a dozen times.

Who ever heard of a remote control snake? I never did. But the kids said he wanted one for Xmas. Didn't believe it was a real thing until I saw it with my own eyes. Weird. But the kid loves it. Makes it do circles on the floor. This is a cheap Chinese POS, so don't get your hopes up for a high-end realistic python with slither action. It doesn't work on carpet either. But it is funny. Not sure how long it will last, like i said it is not built for longevity. Four stars because it was a hit with the kid.

Great practical joke has worked great! comes with batteries and charged plus only takes 30 minutes to recharge fully. Only reason for four stars is you cannot choose the color. I actually painted it a different color to be more realistic.

I was very skeptical on buying this item because it has really bad reviews, but my son really wanted it so I got it anyways knowing that it probably wouldn’t work correctly. Well I was correct. The snake would only go to the right, it wouldn’t go straight or left. So my husband unscrew the snakes head and found that it had a wire that was pinched so he fixed it by un-pinching it and it worked correctly, as shown in video. My son loves this snake and I am now a happy buyer!

Snake worked as advertised, and easy for my granddaughters (6-10 years old) to operate. Purchased because my 7-year-old granddaughter had her heart set on a remote-control snake for her birthday. I didn't think I would find one, and very happy when I could get it delivered in one day! She was thrilled. Doesn't work on carpet--if it did it would get five stars! Great on our tile floors. Highly recommend.

I love the way the snake moves. The only issue would be how loud the wheels and motor are on the floor when it moves and it does not move on carpet. Controls and charging are easy to use.

This thing is cheap but super fun. Goes great on hard surfaces but struggles on carpet. The batteries that came in the box with it were dead so make sure you try fresh batteries from your own stash if it seems like it isn't working out the box. My kids loves it.

I loved this. the only reason I gave this 4 stars is because it makes it look a little bit unrealistic because there is a light inside its mouth. Overall I think it looks realistic enough to trick a few people. If you look at it for about 3 seconds without it moving you will think it is real.

This is the first review I have ever written because this is the first product that exceeded my expectations. Fuzz Butt (my cat) absolutely loves this remote controlled snake. (In the picture she looks a bit disinterested because we had already finished playing but I wanted to get a picture of her with it) She really enjoys batting at it, chasing it, and "killing" it. Plus this toy is perfect for me too. I have been having a lot of medical issues lately and that makes trying to play with her using traditional cat toys very difficult. But with this one I can rest on the couch while she has tons of fun (and quite frankly I find it rather amusing as well).
The only problem with the snake (although it could be a problem with my lack of clear thinking due to pain) is that there aren't really instructions so it took me awhile to figure out where to charge it (same section as the on/off switch).
Anyways this is the best cat toy I have ever seen. I am really glad I bought it.

My cat loves chasing this thing. Obviously it's not made super well since it's made specifically for cats, but it's easy to steer and makes very realistic movements.
Also, it's a good idea to give the floor a good sweep first because literally any amount of pet hair can get stuck in the wheels very easily.
Also, my cat tries to pick it up in his mouth after chasing it down, so I wish the neck were slightly thinner so he could actually do that. Haha.

This little magic worm done skeered the stuffing outa them dern cats. At first, before we figured out that you gotta turn it on with a tiny little switch under the chin, them cats was gathered around staring at it like a couple of chickens watching a card trick. Then Bibbs, that's Bernice's boy, turned it on, waited a couple seconds, and then mashed the remote button so the magic worm started worming and them cats flied straight up in the air. Oh lord, we FELL OUT. Bibs was chasing them dern cats around the house with the magic worm until the battery give out and we was heevin rollin and hollerin the whole time.Actually, it was probably about the right amount of time cuz them dern cats sorta forgot about it. relaxed a little, you know? When Bibs, that's Bernice's boy, fired it up a second time they was just as skeered. it's the best Christmas gift I ever got. We're fixin to bye another one.

First, buyer beware, just getting the thing up and rolling is an ordeal. The batteries are an awkward fit and it took me a bit too long to figure out how to even turn it on. But that's okay. Learning is fun.
My cats are very hunt-oriented so they were very much into catching this stupid snake thing. However, they're very long-haired cats. The wheels WILL get caught in their fur if it is running when they start to attack it. You need to be on your guard to immediately turn off the toy so that it doesn't cause a huge issue. (Less dire, this also means you should have floors clear of debris, as it will wrap any lingering pet fuzz in its wheels faster than you can think about how much you need to sweep your floor.)
I'd recommend other pet robot toys over this one due to the safety risk, but if you are closely monitoring while your pets are playing with this toy, it's delightfully unique.

My daughter has chosen it as a gift for a friend, but really wanted one for herself as well. Snake itself.. “cute” would be the wrong word, but catches your eye definitely. The small egg-shaped remote fits nicely in a child’s hand. Came with the batteries already installed in the remote (the protection film needed to be removed, our batteries flew out when I did, but I managed to put them back relatively quickly, I know some reviewers complained it was an impossible task. It’s a bit tricky, but not impossible). Extra batteries included in the box. And then the fun began. My daughter is enjoying it thoroughly, planning little tricks on our family members, excluding me, I made her promise. The snake moves fast, can make turns. It is not silent though. It does make a noise of a mechanical toy. As for the durability, too soon to tell. It looks quite sturdy and it doesn’t look cheap or poorly assembled.
